1Kings 17:2-6

  • God is bigger than any other god.

  • Do what God says, obey him and he will take care of you.

  • Get out of the environment that poisons your faith so you can hear God.

  • Depend on God, not on yourself.

  • Be in the posture of trusting God.

  • We look at what is known to us, but do not trust what God may be doing.

    1Kings 17:7-11

    • We have to be keen to God’s Word to recognize it and discern His will.

    • Make time to sit with God, and hear God.

    • A child trusts his father, and he will be at peace.

      1Kings 12-14

      • Do not be afraid

      • Fear is a sign of lack of faith.

      • Having faith with help overcome fear.

      • We can focus on the wrong things and not trust God.

      • Like a child trusts his father to say he will be ok, trust God.

      • Uncertainty is a reminder to trust God.

        1 Kings 17:15-16

In keeping with the Word of The Lord

        • Be excited to read the Bible.

        • God has much to say and show you.
